Dr Ankita Madhavani

Dr Ankita Madhavani completed MBBS from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay medical college, Rajkot. She subsequently completed One Year Long Fellowship in Glaucoma from SHANTI SAROJ NETRALAY, MIRAJ, MAHARASHTRA. She also completed Research work on “comparison of corneal higher order aberrations (HOA) in eyes with regular astigmatism and eyes with mild to moderate keratoconus.

Dr Madhavani has 5+ years of clinical experience in treating patients from all spheres of the society.
Her research interest lies in Glaucoma. She is well versed with diagnosis and management of Glaucoma diseases.

Her Surgical expertise includes:

• Phacoemulsification cataract surgery under local & topical anaesthesia.
• Trabeculectomy and Phaco Trab (Glaucoma Surgery)
• Pterygium excision with conjuctival autograft with sutures and without sutures.
• Enucleation, Evisceration.
• Lid, conjunctival, corneal tear repair.
• Intravitreal Injections
• Well versed in performing minor opd procedures like chalazion incision and curettage, corneal ulcer scrapping, corneal, conjuctival and lid foreign body removal, sac syringing etc.
